On the Biotechnica 2007, the DFG-research-centre Matheon in cooperation with the Zuse Institute Berlin presented an own drug design in the field of diabetis mellitus II. Dr. Marcus Weber, CEO of the molConcept GmbH, played a decisive role in this research.
On September 4th 2008 Prof. Dr. Christoph Stein, Director of "Klinik für Anästhesiologie der Charité" Berlin, presented "new trends of pain therapy". Our CEO Dr. Marcus Weber played a decisive role in creating these new painkillers.
At the beginning of 2008, the German Research Association, in cooperation with the Research Centre Matheon, published a DVD with the topic: "Mathematics in research and in the daily life". In May 2008, our CEO Dr. Marcus Weber presented a webinar titled "Mathematical methods in drug design" to the association of the pharma-industry online. This presentation received good response and formed the basis for a research for the simulation of drugs in the active site of a protein.
